The first thing you will want to do is create your account if you haven't already. Also, ensure you have uploaded your logos and set your brand colours


Once logged in you will see an empty content library. Your content library is where all your content items for use in promotions and your social presence is stored, you can add new items as you go and configure many of the services you already use to automatically sync with your content library.


Adding Items to Your Content Library


View your social schedule


Now that you have added a testimonial lets see how this gets turned into a social post, from the main menu select "Social" > "Schedule".


From here you can see all posts past present and future, your social schedule is prepared 7 days in advance, and you can add or remove items at any time.


The first thing you will want to do is select "Update Schedule" this will create your very first schedule for you, each night your schedule is rebuilt to ensure that the latest information is always used in your social channels. Please note that your schedule is only built form today onwards so don't expect to see posts created for yesterday. You can see you "Default" content schedule by selecting "Hide/Show Schedule" this will show you what the system is creating for you at the moment, each slot in your schedule rates to a content category from your content library. Adding Item to Your Social Schedule


So far we have talked about the automated social schedule, but what if you want to add something other than what has been scheduled for you, or perhaps you want to post about something that's just happened how do you do this?


First, click a future date in your calendar, this will bring up your content library as well as an option to add a custom post. Select "Homes to Love" This is one of our curated content libraries, you can add as many articles from these curated libraries to your schedule as you want, keep in mind that the auto-schedule already does this for you on a weekly basis and is not something you need to monitor.


Select the "Add & Personalise" button below one of the items, this will create an editable post for you.




From here you can make any changes to the post you wish or leave as is, select schedule and the post will be added to your Social Schedule for you, Social Estate selects the next best post time automatically but if you really want to set one your self you can also do this.


Next, Add well add a Testimonial that we added to our content library earlier. Select another future day from your calendar and this time select the "Testimonial" tab and click the "Add & Personalise" button.


This time your testimonial post is created as before but you will also notice that Social Estate has created a custom image to accompany the post. This is an example of Dynamic content and is a key feature of Social Estate. Dynamic content generates images for your social posts form your account banding and can also be customised to suite your social media style guide if your organisation has one.
