Testimonials can be easily added to your content library, either through manual upload or by connecting Social Estate to your review platform. Reviews from Google and Facebook can also be imported.
Your content library gives a central warehouse for all your Testimonials and defines how each should be displayed and used in your social schedules or Ad campaigns.
Currently, there are 3 different ways to configure a testimonial/review content item.
A few things to note
- The title given to your Testimonial will be used as a text overlay in certain situations so be considerate when naming your testimonials, For example, a title may be "John is a man of integrity, honesty and loyalty"
- If you do not assign a testimonial to a staff member then their contact details will not be part of the post generated when scheduled. Sometimes this is exactly what you want when a review relates to the entire business and not and individual team member.
There are three options for adding Reviews and Testimonials to your content library.
Option 1
You can manually add testimonials, this is handy where the testimonials have been provided by email or hard written. To manually add a testimonial to your content library, go to "Content Library > Testimonials > Add Testimonial".
When adding a testimonial provide a descriptive meaningful title and provide a quote or exert, the exert should be a key take away from the testimonial that can be used as a quote. This quote is used when generating the social title that accompanies the scheduled post so its important that it is short and succinct for best results.

Option 2
The second method is to have reviews collected on sites like Rate My Agent or Trust Pilot automatically added for you by connecting these services. Once connected reviews are automatically added to your content library once they are available. Once reviews have been added Social Estate will decide on the appropriate Excerpt and image, you can review items in your library at any time and make edits.

Option 3
The third option for adding reviews to your content library is for Google and Facebook specifically, these services do not collect provide images with their reviews. If you review does not have an image provided then one will be selected from your nominated Unsplash collection. Once your reviews have been imported the default Unsplash Collection will be assigned as the image source, you can manually edit each Review after it has been imported.

This same approach can also be used for many other content types like CTA's Memes and Motivational Quotes.

Now that your testimonial is configured the system can automatically schedule this content and generate an accompanying graphic, not that the schedule post contains and short into, the main review and a link back to the agent or offices website.
the best part is the system will work through all your reviews week after week all without you having to do a thing.
Tip
When creating and reviewing testimonials in your content library it's important to ensure each has a suitable image uploaded or has been assigned and Unsplash image collection assigned.
